I’m pleased to say that the first evening of Cocktail Comedy this month was a success and enjoyed by everyone who participated. I wrote about what an exciting idea this is, and so glad to see our newest stand up event is rapidly becoming a crown jewel in the NQ entertainment scene.

I’m even more pleased to say that I’ll be performing at the next one in April.

Don’t worry, there will also be talented comedians. Mishka, who won our local heat of RAW Comedy this month, and Indy C who won the RAW Comedy heat in Brisbane, will also be featuring. We’ll be doing slightly longer and more in-depth sets than you see at Open Mic nights. And MC duties will be fulfilled by the gifted and hilarious Henry Bretz.

The Osk Bar is lovely and with limited seating, so you can be assured of an intimate evening near the Strand with top-notch comic entertainment and some of the best crafted cocktails around… If you secure a ticket, that is! (Did I mention limited seating?)

The evening is a very reasonable $11.90 (including all the bullshit booking fees), which makes for the most affordable VIP experience in NQ that I can think of.
