Proving once again that Townsville is a destination for quality live comedy, two of my friends and favourite comedians – Indy C and Henry Bretz – are putting on a show this Thursday night at Molly Malone’s and it’s going to be a night filled with fun and laughter.

It’s possible you don’t know about Indy C or Henry, in which case shame on you.

But seriously, Indy C is a RAW Comedy finalist and a fan favourite who’s built a loyal following with her clever and irreverent comedy. Henry Bretz is also a Raw Comedy Finalist and a voice you’ll recognise if you listen to Power 100 in the mornings. Henry seems like a nice guy, so I have to constantly remind myself that his quick wit and supernatural gift for comedy can only be the result of a faustian pact with the devil.

They’re two of the most talented people around – the only possible way they could be better is by being me.

Kentucky Fried Soup is what we get when we put these two comedy swashbucklers together and encourage them to go deep for a whole show. We could all really use a funny and fun night out with ferociously talented comics taking care of our entertainment needs, so I’m excited about Kentucky Fried Soup and you should be too.
