Earlier this year I told you how excited I am that RAW Comedy is holding heats in North Queensland for the first time ever, and that I intended to participate this year.

I can confirm I’m entering and you’ll be able to see me perform and compete with lots of other fantastic local comics on the 10th of this month at one of my favourite venues – Molly Malones!

I can’t begin to tell you how excited I am about this. RAW is a massive deal in Australian comedy and it’s been the launchpad for the careers of lots of comedians – Hannah Gadsby, Ronny Chieng, Celia Pacquola, Matt Okine, Anne Edmonds, Becky Lucas and Aaron Chen, just to name a few.

Don’t tell the RAW team but I’d planned to fly to Brisbane to compete this year if I had to!

There’s heats in Cairns as well as Townsville, so the tropics are going to be well represented this year:

Brisbane Heat #1 – Sun 11 Jul 2021 | 7pm
Townsville Heat – Thu 10 Mar | 7pm
Cairns Heat – Sat 12 Mar | 7pm
Brisbane Heat #2 – Sun 13 Mar | 7pm

QLD Summer Season State Final – Sun 20 Mar | 7pm
