I told a friend a few years ago why I’d stopped making music and was thinking about doing stand up comedy. I told him that I couldn’t communicate anything meaningful with instrumental music alone, that I’m a whole lot better with words.

He told me that comedians get censored, while music changes history and influences generations.

Today, five years later:
* I sometimes get paid to talk.
* The top ten is dominated by bad covers, Justin Bieber and Ed Sheeran.
* We literally have strongly enforced state laws against dancing.In 2021

I feel strangely vindicated by this unforeseeable turn of events
